The term society refers to an association of individuals. When we speak of social relations, we are referring to interactions among members of that group.
Further, when we speak of social organization, we are referring to pattern of interaction. We assume that the personal interactions within a society have some sort of structure, and in analyzing that structure we tend to assign behavior to certain category.
In doing so, we tend divide the people of the society into various groups, such as families, clans, classes, clubs, and so on. Further, we can analyses behavior in political, economic, or religions terms, although people might not keep these categories separate in their life everyday.
