Origin of Language

One question that is of interest to anthropologists concerns how and when language came about and how it reached its present form.

Language is one of the most important results of human evolution, is one that makes culture possible and contributes to social behavior and learning.

All higher animals communicate with one another through vocal sign and gestures. But human language is unique ion many ways.

There are five aspects normally researcher discussed in order to show relationship between language and culture:

*The evolution of the ability to produce speech, including increase intelligence and memory as well as changes in vocal tract

*Theories about the origin of language

*an analysis of the content of human communication and how it is different from that other animals

*Misconception about so-called primitive languages

*and how language continues to change today.
